Barbara has an MS degree in Biology from NYU and during her college and postgraduate years, she participated in plant biochemistry research. Then, she discovered that computers were fun. She spent 5 years working in computer training at Tandy Radio Shack and then spent 35 years at Scarsdale Public Schools working in IT support, which included many things from programming in COBOL to serving as a Database Manager for the District. Barbara retired fully from Scarsdale in 2023. She has been a member of TechEdConnect since 2015 and the Recording Secretary since 2018.
