Beginning Genealogy (ZOOM ONLY)
Designed for the beginning genealogy researcher, this session will focus on free online resources for research. Topics include: How to begin and avoid mistakes; library resources, local and across the country; free genealogy online websites and resources. Software? Online tree? Plus a word about social media.
Sue Mueller
A retired educator and administrator, Sue is a member of CUE, the Computer Users of Erie (Erie, PA), where she leads the Genealogy Special Interest Group. She has been working seriously on genealogy for more than 30 years and has used Family Tree Maker genealogy software since 1996, including participating in beta testing. An active participant and presenter for the Erie Society for Genealogical Research, she also teaches monthly genealogy classes for the Erie County Public Library (both in person and via Zoom).
