Looking at Westchester GIS: Where Maps Meet Databases
A birds-eye view of our region is available at the click of a computer mouse via Westchester County’s GIS – Geographic Information Systems. Ana Hiraldo-Gomez will discuss the Westchester County GeoHub website (Interactive Maps | Westchester County GeoHub), which is a gateway to useful data and is available to the public. It contains practical information such as contour maps. And there’s what’s simply interesting and nostalgic such as aerial maps dating back to 1947 (and at least one set back to the 1920s!).
