Alex always had an interest in understanding how things work. At the age of 13, he started learning about and repairing electronics. This eventually led to an interest in computers. Alex started building and fixing computers back in the mid 90s. For a short time, he ran a small computer repair business.
He has been in the IT field for the past 27 years, filling roles as a software instructor, trading and service desk support, as well as network and systems engineer supporting a global infrastructure. Aside from technology, other hobbies include dabbling with carpentry, welding, and Halloween prop building. Alex joined WPCUG in 2019.
